HEALER NGO TAU (Episode 1)

This is a series of articles about the profession – the experiences of a Reiki healer. If you’re interested in energy healing work and want to know about the “behind-the-scenes” stories – from someone who knew nothing about energy to becoming a professional energy healer, the challenges that have taken place – then feel free to follow these articles.

To outsiders, the title “Reiki Master” might seem quite prestigious because energy is something very vague for most people. However, not all Reiki Masters are confident enough to admit they are a Reiki Master, and some may even be hesitant to show their Reiki Master certificates issued by any association. One of the common reasons for this is that they lack confidence in their abilities and the tools they possess.

For Siam Reiki, due to the high standards in training and therapy, becoming a Siam Reiki Master is not an easy task, typically taking over a year with many mandatory courses and requirements for a certain number of hands-on therapy sessions. It’s estimated that when someone holds a Siam Reiki Master certificate, they’ve already performed around 100 direct and remote therapy sessions, with some having done up to 300 sessions before becoming a Master. Therefore, a true Siam Reiki Master has enough knowledge and ability to be recognized as a professional therapist. However, becoming a Reiki Master is still just the beginning of a very long journey ahead. The knowledge and what the teacher imparts is just a small part; the process of practicing and growing through the experiences of being a Reiki healer truly brings forth their unique abilities.

Below is my “Baby Master” experience.

From someone who knew nothing, when learning Reiki at lower levels (Reiki 1 and 2), you would likely be eager to have more psychic abilities, to see this, feel that. But acquiring psychic abilities is only a small part and can cause many problems if one doesn’t know how to manage these abilities to live peacefully in daily life. In reality, some people are born with more sensitive psychic senses without ever having studied anything, and they struggle to balance this ability in their life.

In the beginning, when I became a Reiki Master, due to the expansion of energy through adjustment sessions, the volume of information received during a therapy session increased significantly compared to the lower levels. The difficulty at this stage was managing psychic abilities, specifically for me, the challenge of interpreting and making sense of the information I received through my psychic abilities. For example, psychic A might see a spiky fruit with a strong odor and conclude it’s a jackfruit, but psychic B would interpret it as durian. Psychic A might confidently conclude that the subject is blocked because they love jackfruit, while psychic B might interpret it as the subject being blocked because they are overly passionate about something beyond their financial ability ^^.

One of the most common misunderstandings, even at the Reiki 2 and Master levels, is seeing an image of someone and assuming it’s a “mind entity” – a spirit following the client, while it could just be an emotional blockage the client has related to that person. When the information is misinterpreted, the approach to resolving it becomes incorrect, and the therapy session may not be as effective as it could be.

Teacher Steve shared that he once knew of a case where a group of therapists gathered and tried to exorcise a mind entity from the client – only to realize that the “mind entity” was actually the client’s own mind. Therefore, in order to clarify information more clearly during therapy, he sets up many practical questions that therapists need to communicate with Guides and clients to gather more information.

When I first became a Master, I had a “career accident” that I’ll never forget and can’t help but laugh every time I think of it. The story goes that one day, while placing my hands on a client’s abdomen, I saw an image of a baby, and I immediately concluded that the client was pregnant. This caused the client to panic and rush to take a pregnancy test right away, even though she had just broken up with her boyfriend ^^

As I gained more experience in therapy, I improved my ability to interpret information and communicate better with clients to understand the situation. I’ve become a bit smarter now. I hope the clients understand. Even seasoned Masters have to go from Baby Master to where they are, hehe ^^

Stay tuned for the next parts:
