SPIRITUALITY IS NO JOKE

Spiritual Experiences in Siam Reiki’s Transcending Entities Course

Transcending Entities – Identifying Energy Forms and Transcendence is the toughest course in Siam Reiki, but it also brings many strange spiritual experiences, particularly those related to different lands and cultures.

Typically, this course is challenging because students are required to go into the field and practice hands-on. The weather conditions outdoors can be unpredictable – suddenly, intense sun or heavy rain, and students are expected to continue their tasks regardless. The field locations can be uncomfortable, sometimes lacking any shade, filled with overgrown weeds, muddy, dusty, or infested with fire ants, and so on. Additionally, many areas are filled with low-vibration energy, so stepping into them can immediately make one feel uneasy.

Energy-wise, this is a course where “things are serious.” Students must complete Siam Reiki 2 before they are capable of taking this course. While at the field – an area filled with low-vibration energy forms – students are very likely to be directly affected by these energies.

The most recent Transcending Entities class took place from July 26 to 28 at Ecopark, with the first field trip on July 27. I had the role of translator for this class. As planned, on July 27, the students were supposed to visit the residential cemetery behind the Swanlake Landmark buildings. From a high floor, the cemetery is just a wall away from the buildings. However, when standing on the ground, it was hard to figure out how to get there. In a twist of fate, instead of going to the planned cemetery, the group was led to the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Phung Cong Commune, right at noon on July 27 – Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

At the Martyrs’ Cemetery, the students began to feel the different energy forms in the area. Although I’m not particularly sensitive to energy, I could clearly feel the energy at certain spots within the cemetery. I believe this is a common occurrence in many other Martyrs’ Cemeteries, so those curious may want to try visiting one.

There are two locations at the Martyrs’ Cemetery where the energy feels vastly different. The first is from the main entrance gate to the memorial statue; and the second is an area below, which I later realized was the spot where incense offerings are burned. From the main gate to the memorial statue, there is a path that feels a bit shaky, like walking into a current. The incense-burning area, on the other hand, feels very heavy. After the students shared their experiences, Teacher Steve confirmed that there were no ley lines or vortexes here, and he asked us to describe what these two types of energy were.

The first energy, the path from the entrance to the memorial, is formed by the rituals carried out by the living for the deceased.

The second energy, at the incense-burning area, is a bit tricky. The students initially responded that this heaviness was due to the restless souls gathered here. But Steve continued probing, asking why the spirits of the martyrs hadn’t transcended and instead gathered here, while they should have been at the memorial above. Yusuf provided a surprising answer that shocked all of us. It turned out that the restless souls gathered at the incense-burning spot were not the spirits of the martyrs. They felt unworthy of going to the “Country’s Tribute” memorial. They were not buried here; they only gathered here to take some offerings and beg for food. Wow, that was truly fascinating. After understanding this, the students performed a healing ritual to help them transcend.

It was a tough but incredibly rewarding day of learning. For the Transcending Entities course, no field location is ever the same 100%. In the class at 7 Stones, Thailand, in March 2024, I had the experience of “walking out and immediately encountering a house affected by black magic.” Meanwhile, in the Ecopark class, it was a type of energy created by humans, but in a different way.

If any of you are thinking of becoming a professional healer, don’t miss this course. It is usually held right before the Fire Lighting Ceremony, which in Vietnam only happens once a year, and 1-2 times in Thailand.
