FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FROM SUBJECTS (Part 1)
SHARING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
These are a series of long posts sharing my personal experience and perspective on quantum hypnosis to help outsiders gain insight from someone who has personally experienced the method.
The first section includes common questions from subjects and my perspective on them. I will gradually update the questions.
1. DO YOU WANT TO USE HYPNOSIS FOR HEALING?
Hypnosis can help you resolve and untangle many current issues and understand the problems you’re facing, but ultimately, when you return to your daily life, you must heal yourself by becoming self-aware and transforming yourself, no longer unconsciously repeating old patterns. Only in this way will you achieve sustainable results in life. Hypnosis is not a magical cure, and it should not be overused.
If you continue to drown in and unconsciously repeat old thoughts, old beliefs, old emotions, and old behaviors, you are continuing to sow new seeds and reap new results. Healing for one lifetime, or many lifetimes, will not be enough if you remain trapped in this vicious cycle.
See hypnosis and healing through hypnosis as a very small step that helps you realize who you truly are, and then you can continue walking on your path to return to your true nature. Living mindfully in every moment means nothing more needs healing.
2. DO YOU WANT TO USE HYPNOSIS TO CURE DISEASES?
From personal experience, I believe that hypnosis is very effective in addressing psychological issues and mental health problems. For physical illnesses, quantum hypnosis master Dolores Cannon and her daughter Julia Cannon, after over 40 years of work, have shared many cases where subjects have healed from illness after hypnosis. Some hypnosis sessions I have conducted also reveal that the cause of some physical ailments in the present comes from past lives, but I need more time to reflect on the effectiveness of this method for physical healing.
Thus, you can use hypnosis to explore the causes and solutions for physical ailments, much like Dolores Cannon or Edgar Cayce did, as a reference, but you should not expect immediate results.
3. DO YOU WANT TO USE HYPNOSIS TO FIND YOUR LIFE’S MISSION?
You have nothing to give if you don’t know how to receive. You cannot love others if you cannot love yourself. Therefore, before thinking about what you can give to life or to others, you need to learn how to balance within, how to love yourself, and how to love your own life. Imagine that you are here to “play,” to love and be loved, and to live in this state of awareness, which is not easy. Just imagine, if you are a solid lighthouse, you will naturally illuminate many people around you without having to do anything.
If you are too focused on the outside, wanting to “become someone” before you have cared for the inside, you are like planting a large tree with shallow roots; even before a storm comes, it could fall. “Becoming someone” is ultimately just a role, a cloak you wear, regardless of what others call you or what you call yourself, whether it’s a healer, a mentor, a leader, a millionaire, a farmer, a rideshare driver, etc.
“You only believe in what you know.” If your inner self urges you to do certain things, that urge will continue to drive you stronger, and you will know what you need to do. If someone outside tells you to do this or that, and it’s something you already know, their words only confirm what you already know. If they tell you something you don’t know or recognize within yourself, you probably won’t believe it immediately. There’s a high chance you will look outward again, asking many people, becoming overwhelmed by advice, and accumulating more information, making things even more confusing. When it’s all too noisy, you won’t know or recognize what’s inside you.
Recognizing yourself comes from experiences in both the outer world and the inner world. If you’re still young or lack enough experiences in life about love, work, relationships with others, and your relationship with yourself, it’s best to return to experiencing more and understanding yourself first. Asking others about your “life’s mission” might be a very subtle ego trap.
4. WHAT IS THE LESSON OF THIS LIFE?
What is the lesson for you in this very moment? Answer me, is it because you don’t understand yourself that you came to the hypnotist to ask your subconscious this question? If that’s the case, the lesson in this moment is to understand yourself without asking anyone else.
You return home and face things that don’t go as planned, a feeling of anger arises within you. What is the lesson in that moment for you?
Don’t think too far ahead. The lesson comes to you in every second, every minute. Be mindful, recognize it, and deal with it. Once you graduate from grade 1, you’ll gradually move on to grade 12—no need to rush. What you learn, once done, forget about it and just take the next step as it comes.
5. I WANT TO KNOW IF I SHOULD FOLLOW THE SPIRITUAL PATH?
What is spirituality? What is the spiritual path?
Is spirituality a part of life, or does spirituality encompass life?
I joke that spirituality is “when you turn inward, everything becomes spiritual.” When you always turn inward, whether the path is made of dirt, concrete, gravel, or rose petals, they are just paths. When you turn inward, whether you travel by bicycle, bus, tractor, train, airplane, or flying saucer, they are just means of transportation. At one moment, you take one path with one means of transport, and at another moment, you take a different path with a different vehicle. Becoming a medium, a sorcerer, a businessperson, an artist, a farmer, or a spiritual practitioner is just a cloak, a path, a means—nothing more. Be free to create and choose your path and the means of transport, so your inner self can light the way.
6. I WANT TO KNOW WHERE I AM ON THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY AND WHAT I STILL HAVE TO EXPERIENCE.
The universe is infinite, with no beginning or end. So how can we measure how much of the infinite we have experienced?
When Siddhartha Gautama meditated under the Bodhi tree, did he know that after 49 days he would attain enlightenment?
We don’t know if we’ll be breathing in the next moment, so let’s just be HERE and NOW, and whatever comes, will come. Perhaps at some point, you will realize where you are and what you still have left to experience. When you know that, no one will need to tell you, and you won’t need to prove anything to anyone.
7. I WANT TO EXPERIENCE PAST LIVES.
The process of accessing the subconscious is one through which you can experience what you call past lives. However, “experiencing past lives” is not the goal; it is one of the “tools” used in hypnosis.
But first, ask yourself, “What is the purpose of experiencing past lives, and how will it be useful in my present life?” If you’re not clear about this, hypnosis will merely be a stimulant for the seeds of ego that already exist within you, and this itself will be a valuable lesson. For example, if you are still attached to fame, you may feel disappointed when you see that in past lives you had a lowly status. If you still compare yourself, you might cling to the glory you had in those past lives to distinguish it from the present. Remember, those seeds are already within you. Therefore, even without hypnosis, other means or situations will trigger these seeds to sprout. Thus, please accept it with joy if the hypnotist declines to work with you or gives advice that may upset you later.
