PART I – A EASTERN TEA BLOSSOM
Past life regression to explain current relationships, to encounter lives that are beautiful and poetic, and to feel that beauty.
This is a story I spent a lot of time on because I wasn’t sure how to start writing it, what title to give, or what image to use as an illustration. Yes, this is a love story about a beautiful woman, a story that might touch a very deep part of each of us, touching on a timeless question: “What is true love?”
PAST LIFE REGRESSION – INTRODUCING THE SUBJECT
The subject of this regression session is a young woman who is already married. She exudes a very delicate and graceful Eastern beauty, and just hearing her voice on the phone is enough to stir the heart. She came to me with questions about two relationships. One is with her current husband, a cheerful, humorous, and energetic man, with whom she enjoys being around and loves, but the connection isn’t deeply profound. The other is with an ex-lover, a relationship that was very subtle, deeply understanding, and touched her heart completely. With both men, she shared a long time together, with relationships that ebbed and flowed, not fleeting. She loves her husband dearly but is conflicted because her husband cannot touch her deeply like her ex-lover did. She keeps her ex-lover in the dark about her current life; they only know that she’s fine but have no idea where she is or what she’s doing. Her ex-lover is already married. They occasionally check in with each other, and she can still feel the same warmth and affection as before. She says that she wants to understand her karmic ties with both men, and to know what she should do because, while being with her husband, she can’t accept “emotional infidelity” by thinking of the other man.
Before getting into the main part, I want to say a few things. First, look at this situation with eyes full of compassion. Because with countless lifetimes we have lived, it’s entirely possible to encounter many old karmic relationships in a single life and at the same time. Just because you’re not in that situation now doesn’t mean you won’t encounter it in this life. You’ll be at peace until something unexpected happens, and you’ll find yourself asking, “What the hell is going on? Why is this happening?”
Furthermore, have you ever felt truly deep? Many subjects who have come to me have said they don’t understand what led them to marry their current spouse, and they feel that marriage is really meaningless, almost like a facade, a joke, even though their outward life appears to be normal by everyday standards.
And another thing, have you ever wondered why we can passionately love many places, many tasks, all our children, pets we care for, our parents and siblings, yet demand that we and our partner only love each other exclusively?
Finally, how do you define “emotional infidelity”? Is it when your body is with one person, but your mind and heart are with someone else? If so, do you realize that you’ve been “emotionally unfaithful” continuously with many different people? Because at work, you do one thing, but your mind is thinking about something else; at home, you’re playing with your kids but thinking about work; when taking care of yourself, your mind is filled with thoughts of something far off. Observe how much of your day your mind is truly in the same place as your physical body? Reflect on that. If the way we do one thing is how we do everything, is it not unreasonable to expect that we and our partner behave in a different way when it comes to love than how we do everything else? If we continue by instinct, can we truly do it naturally?
PAST LIFE REGRESSION – THE STORY BEGINS
AN EASTERN TEA BLOSSOM

PAST LIFE REGRESSION – A STORY OF AN EASTERN TEA BLOSSOM
-
Right now, I’m in Japan. I’m in a traditional Japanese house, just like the one I’ve always dreamed of. Outside, there’s a Japanese-style Bonsai garden. I’m wearing a beautiful kimono. This place feels like a tea ceremony space. There’s no one else, just me. Why is there no one? But I feel like I’m being true to myself. I am an Eastern woman. I feel like a noble woman, neat and composed, wearing a kimono, waiting to prepare tea. It feels like my life is very neat, respected, as though I am a noble lady… very high-class.
-
Do you look like yourself now?
-
A little different. I can’t see my face clearly, but I feel like I’m a beautiful and composed woman. My hair is long, tied up in the typical Japanese style, but I can’t see my face.
-
Is the scene ancient or modern?
-
I feel like I’m dressed in traditional, old-fashioned clothes, but I don’t know if the scene is ancient or modern.
-
Look at the space from a broader perspective, as if from above.
-
Oh, it looks like an old town. All the houses are traditional, no high-rise buildings. The wooden houses from old Japan, like the old streets of Kyoto. I’ve never been to Japan, but I’ve seen films and TV shows, and it looks like an old town… very quiet. The houses have sliding wooden doors.
-
What are you doing?
-
I’m busy organizing or preparing something, even though the room has very few items. It’s very minimalist, like the Japanese lifestyle. But I feel like there’s something related to the tea ceremony.
-
What is a typical day in this woman’s life like?
-
I wake up, get ready, tie my hair, put on makeup, wear beautiful clothes. Then I prepare tea, sit and drink it while admiring the garden. The floor is higher than the garden, so I can sit and look at the beautiful Bonsai garden. That’s it. I haven’t seen myself doing anything else.
-
Now… it seems like she’s waiting for a guest… but the guest hasn’t arrived yet. I see a guest, a man, but I can only vaguely see him. Then I invite him to sit down and drink tea.
-
Does this woman live with her family?
-
I don’t see anyone around me. Why are there no servants either? Even though this is a big house, a large garden. I’m wondering to myself, if there’s no servant, how could the house and garden be taken care of while I’m not doing anything?
-
Let’s explore another scene.
-
I’m walking around the garden. There’s a bridge and a small stream in the Bonsai garden. I’m walking with the man, but it feels like he’s just a guest, not someone who lives in the house with me.
-
How do you feel about this walk and conversation?
-
Very normal, gentle, nothing intense or dramatic. It’s not too dull either. It’s light, like the cherry blossoms, gentle and slow. It’s like a meeting… like what modern people call a weekend visit to someone’s house.
-
Let’s explore a scene with her family.
-
She doesn’t have a family, and I don’t even see any servants, though there must be someone who takes care of the house and garden.
-
Now, let’s go to the day she was born.
-
She has a father and a mother… waiting to hold her, welcoming her. It seems like it’s in this house, born at home. Although I can’t see their faces clearly, they’re wearing traditional Japanese kimonos. They’re happy, affectionate, and gently holding the baby. I’m in the father’s arms, and he places me on the floor. I don’t cry. Then the father turns to care for the mother. The atmosphere feels very peaceful. And… why is the house so empty even though it’s so big? Why don’t I see anyone… even the midwife isn’t here. The baby feels calm and familiar with the house… It seems there’s a dog and a cat, but they disappear quickly.
-
How does this baby grow up?
-
This house and garden feel like the entire world of the baby, within this large enclosure. The baby grows up with a lot of care. Even though the baby is small, she’s dressed very neatly and beautifully, blending with nature in the garden. The parents sit inside, watching the baby play in the garden. The parents don’t do anything… they just sit by the tea table. It feels like the parents are very happy, like a perfect couple… but the baby plays alone in the garden with no one else. The baby accepts this, without feeling the need to go outside, just playing alone with the grass, the plants, and the surroundings of the garden. The dog from earlier reappears, yellow in color… the same breed as Hachiko.
-
What do her parents do?
-
I see an image in the house with a sword, like a Japanese sword. Maybe her father is a swordsman, a martial artist, a very strong man. Oh… this couple seems like a perfect match. The mother is like a typical Japanese woman, and the father is like a hero, a gentleman.

PAST LIFE REGRESSION – A STORY OF A EASTERN TEA BLOSSOM
-
Let’s continue to see how the girl grows up.
-
She’s involved in activities like calligraphy, embroidery, and painting, all of which she learns at home. Of course, someone must have taught her, but she’s always by herself, just working on her embroidery and paintings. She’s like a model young woman. She enjoys these tasks and doesn’t question why she’s alone, as if she accepts it. She enjoys painting and embroidery, feeling satisfied with herself because she grows up to be beautiful on the outside and also possesses these refined skills on the inside. Her parents are very proud of her.
-
Ah, there are guests… it seems like a father and son. She sees a young man, but she doesn’t feel much, just welcoming him like a family friend. The adults are talking, but she doesn’t know what’s going on. It seems like this young man is the same man who came to visit earlier, but now he’s much younger, like a teenager. When he came before, he seemed more mature.
-
Do they have feelings for each other?
-
They like each other, but it’s not romantic love. It’s just a fondness.
-
Then where did her parents go?
-
She doesn’t know. She feels like the man has returned from a distant place, perhaps from some kind of battle. She believes her father is involved in swordsmanship, so it seems like he too has gone away for some important work related to men.
-
Ah, her parents are gone… She goes to their graves… She places fruit there… (voice choked with emotion) There’s a glass frame in front of the grave. She knows they have passed away, and now she’s left all alone… She feels like she accepts this. There’s a sense of melancholy, but she doesn’t resist it. She feels like this is just the way life was meant to be.
-
She says goodbye to her parents and leaves. Even the way she walks is graceful and elegant. It seems like a beauty that no one can touch… because it’s such noble beauty.
-
Let’s move on to a significant day in her life.
-
She doesn’t know what’s happening. She just knows that she’s wearing a beautiful kimono, and many people are coming to her house. It feels like some sort of ceremony, maybe a coming-of-age celebration, to announce to the world that she has grown up. She shines brightly among the guests. She’s radiant and beautiful. At that time, her parents were still alive and very proud of their daughter. The guests were all noble people from high society. It seems her family belongs to the upper class, involved in swordsmanship and the arts… She feels like she’s truly herself, and she shines like a flower. She feels happy but remains humble, very much like a traditional woman. Her smile is beautiful. She’s like a muse from the land of cherry blossoms, but there’s absolutely no talk of marriage, romance, or getting married. The ceremony is just to show the world that there’s a grown woman in the house.
-
Why was this day significant to her?
-
Because she performed the tea ceremony, and she was so beautiful. Even her voice was soft and graceful. That type of voice is only found in high society, with an elegant way of speaking that only those from such a background can possess.
-
Let’s move on to another important day in her life.
-
Now, let’s go back to the day she met that guest. The young man from her teenage years has now returned, grown up and more mature. He came to visit as a friend, but it seems like he’s starting to like her… but it’s still just a feeling, nothing deeper yet.
-
Why was this day significant for her?
-
Because she doesn’t know… perhaps it marks the beginning of new feelings or a new chapter in her life, a chapter involving this young man… Now, as he’s about to leave, he turns to say goodbye, holds her hand, and kisses it… This is something that usually happens in the West, but why is it happening in Japan? Maybe this young man has just returned from the West… perhaps she has been raised in both traditional and Western ways… She realizes… wait, why does this way of showing respect remind her so much of the attitude of her old lover? The way he holds her hand and treats her with so much care, it feels like he truly values her… She feels like they’re very similar… but she doesn’t know if they are one and the same. He leaves, and for her, today was just a meeting with an old family friend. But for him, it seems like he now wants to take care of her. However, she returns to the porch of the house and watches the scenery. The view in the garden is very beautiful, but why doesn’t she seem to do anything else, just make tea, drink it, and enjoy the view?
-
Is she married to this man?
-
Yes, they are married, just like her parents before. They are a perfect match, like a heroic man and a beautiful woman. He treats her with so much care. He goes outside into the cold, closes the door, and places his hands on her cheeks, looking at her with such love. He cherishes her. Their life together is very sweet, but there are no children. Now, they have two children, a boy and a girl. The children resemble her when she was young, as they are dressed neatly, clean, and smell nice. They wear traditional clothes, and the house has a very cultured atmosphere. The children sit by their parents and are very well-behaved, with respect and order. There’s a sense of reverence in the family, full of deep affection, but also very refined and respectful, not casual. It’s the ideal family life. But, interestingly, there are only four people in the household, no servants… Oh, now I see a servant has appeared. An elderly woman comes in, bringing something for the family and places it on the table, showing respect, like in an old-period drama, where after delivering something, she steps back before turning away.
-
It seems this man works outside, doing something very important, like a general. But he doesn’t have the rough demeanor of a general; instead, he’s very delicate, gentle, and warm. Everyday life is normal, but they still sit with their backs straight. They have a dignity and class above the common people. The children, with their small, slightly curved eyes, are very cute. They seem to be twins, about the same age. The family is not casual or noisy, and they communicate with elegance. They speak softly, with gentle smiles. The woman’s smile is very beautiful, brightening the entire room. The atmosphere is full of happiness.

Observe her in her old age.
-
She’s still so beautiful even when she’s old. Only her hair has turned white, but she remains stunning. By then, she’s aware she has children and grandchildren, but they are not seen around. She continues to live there. The estate is incredibly beautiful and vast. This woman — her whole life seems to be lived only in that place and by the graves of her parents. Occasionally, she strolls down the road lined with cherry blossoms, carrying a traditional Japanese umbrella. But she doesn’t appear to have many social activities or interactions. Still, she is content. Just walking under the cherry trees in full bloom brings her joy and a sense of life’s beauty. It even seems like her presence while walking there makes the street more beautiful. Her appearance in public draws admiration from passersby. They don’t dare to stare; they only steal glances in awe.
-
Now, let’s look at the final day of her life.
-
On the last day, she sits near the veranda, gazing out at the greenery in the garden. She drinks tea. Feeling tired, she sits on a floor chair with a backrest. Leaning back, resting her hand on her forehead — and just like that, she passes… as beautiful as a painting. It’s as if she took her final breath peacefully, after enjoying a cup of tea and feeling completely content with her life. Even in death, her smile remains beautiful. She’s an old woman by then, yes, but aside from the white hair, everything else about her is still full of grace and nobility. Her husband, still alive, had known this day would come and had accepted it. He comes to her, holds her in his arms, and stays like that, looking out over the garden.
-
She feels fulfilled by her life. She sees that she lived a truly beautiful life, where everything connected to her was graceful and gentle — free from the pain and hardships that life can bring. Things came naturally: aging parents passing away, marriage, the birth of well-mannered children. Her life was without turmoil. She was deeply loved by her husband and shone brightly in her own quiet way.
-
What is the meaning of that life?
-
It is to bring beauty to the world. Because just her presence makes the space around her more beautiful. When she smiles, everyone feels joy. She is not only beautiful but also well-mannered and noble. She doesn’t do much. She simply makes tea.
When asked about the meaning of that life in the present, you shared that you love it, but you’ve never explored Japanese tea ceremony. You’ve only studied the Vietnamese tea tradition and felt that it allowed you to be truly yourself, to feel the sacredness embedded in its rituals. You love tea and the respectfulness, the structure, the etiquette involved. As a child, you always wished for a family with discipline and order, where people spoke gently to one another.
-
Why doesn’t she do anything else besides making tea and watching the world?
-
Because she enjoys everything being slow and gentle. Other things feel too burdensome for her.
-
Why don’t we see any servants?
-
The servants only appear when needed to bring things, because the estate is too large. They live in a separate area and only come when necessary.
-
Try to recall her husband again — do you recognize him from your current life?
-
Her husband’s elegance, demeanor, his gentle warmth — they resemble your ex-boyfriend. He’s also tall like that. You didn’t see his face clearly, but you could feel the warmth in his gaze, in every gesture — calm and full of care.
P.S.: She is so beautiful that I kept searching for photos that could capture her essence as I imagine her. I’m still not fully satisfied — there’s no tea ceremony photo yet — but these pictures make me feel peaceful and refreshed whenever I think of her. In this life, to have once seen such a sublime and noble woman — that alone would be a joy for a lifetime, wouldn’t it? ^^
