Can Reiki help find a partner? The answer is “possibly,” but it’s much more than just that. Engaging in a Siam Reiki session, or learning and practicing it, can accelerate the process of clearing energetic blockages, which in turn can speed up the arrival of new opportunities in your life—including a new romantic relationship. The following is a story of a distance Reiki session that became the start of my journey into relationship counseling through energy work.
In Vietnamese culture, a “sớ” is a type of ancient petition or formal letter used to present one’s wishes to a higher authority, such as a king or a deity. These documents follow strict conventions. I couldn’t find a better name for this particular love-focused Reiki session, so I called it a “sớ,” or “petition.” Read on to understand why.
A Young Man’s “Petition”
My client was a young, well-built, and successful man who booked a distance Siam Reiki session out of curiosity and a sense of unease. He had a tendency to be “controlling” in relationships, which had caused several of his romantic pursuits to end prematurely. I told him I couldn’t guarantee what a Reiki session would reveal, but that it would restore balance, and any existing imbalances would become clear.
The energy at his Sixth Chakra was quite amusing. It described a tendency to worry excessively about the future. For example, he would get into a relationship for just a few months, and his mind would already be planning where they would live and how they would build a family in two or three years. When the session was over, I explained that while this kind of planning can be endearing to a woman when a relationship is already committed, it can be frightening early on. If she’s just looking for a casual relationship, she’ll likely run for the hills.
The energy at his Fourth Chakra (the Heart Chakra) was even more comical. He was very meticulous, not in a difficult way, but in a very detailed way, and had a very long list of “standards.” His heart looked like a thick, ancient petition—countless pages that you couldn’t get to the end of. I laughed and told him, “You have too many standards. Pick just a few that are truly important to you. Your list of desires is endless. Use your hands to tear away the unnecessary pages and focus on what truly matters.” As a result, he chose to keep only one single page from the entire petition.
At his Third Chakra, he showed a tendency to be overconfident. He was the type of person who felt he could handle anything and, as a result, would take on too much. He was genuinely overwhelmed and needed to let some things go. This same tendency made him a bit rigid, and he struggled to see things from other people’s perspectives.
His Second Chakra was both funny and endearing. It essentially said, “I’m a great catch, so why did she break up with me?” It was an interesting contrast, as I more often encounter clients who are too hard on themselves. This was the first time I had met someone with the opposite extreme.
The Takeaway
In conclusion, I didn’t see energy of control, possessiveness, or manipulation in him. Rather, his meticulous nature, future-focused anxiety, perfectionism, and lack of flexibility in seeing others’ perspectives were likely what made his partners feel controlled. By letting go of these tendencies, both he and his future partners would feel much more comfortable and at ease.
A few days after the Reiki session, he messaged me, saying he felt happier and more optimistic than he had in a very long time. About a month later, he texted me to let me know he had been in a new relationship for two weeks. He said he remembered my advice and was truly enjoying this new love. As of the time of writing this, about four months have passed, and he is still very happy in the relationship. Since his session, I’ve had great success using Reiki to counsel both singles and couples.
Beside a regular Reiki session, if you are looking for incredible changes in life, you should never miss an opportunity to book a Distant Reiki by the Sacred Fire, which usually happen twice or three times a year during the Fire Gatherings.
