GUARDIAN ANGEL
Practicing Reiki from afar and the experience of meeting an angel.
This happened a few weeks ago. I had initially planned to let it go ^^ but then I realized it was a unique experience, something I had never encountered before, and it was so magnificent that I decided to share it as a memory.
Since I couldn’t find any image on the internet that precisely described what I saw, I chose this photo because it resonates with the peace I felt during that moment.
That evening, I was sending distant Reiki to a friend, and because I was feeling lazy, I did it while lying down, preparing to sleep ^^. Sending distant Reiki is a completely normal and familiar practice, just like I do for clients and anyone who asks for it.
After setting the intention and starting to send Reiki with both hands raised, suddenly I saw someone “on the other side” also sending “something” to my friend. It felt like, “What is that?” I turned towards it and, oh my, what a beautiful scene it was. In the warm, golden light, there was an angel with wings, hovering about 2-3 meters above my friend. Her blonde hair was slightly flowing behind her, and she wore a crown-like braid across her head. Her long, soft, delicate dress hung gently. She stood with a slight lean, looking down. Her hands were cupped together and pointing down as if gently holding an overturned vase, but there was no vase in her hands. From her hands, a stream of golden light poured out, flowing continuously. As it cascaded down, the light automatically wove itself into a golden net that enveloped my friend’s entire body. I stared at her hands because the light was pouring out so forcefully, like water flowing. She was aware of my presence but didn’t even glance at me; she was so focused on what she was doing, meticulous and careful, for a long time. Meanwhile, I kept looking at her in awe because the scene was just too beautiful ^^, though I also wondered, “Is this real or just my imagination?” =))
Finally, she placed an emerald on each of my friend’s eyes, then gently turned and floated away, without saying a word. When she disappeared, I suddenly realized I forgot to ask her name, so I quickly called out, “What is your name?” A voice echoed back, “Mariana.” A sense of stillness and peace remained with me for a long time, even after she was gone.
At that moment, I thought, maybe she’s my friend’s guardian angel.
The next day, I told my friend about this. Since she is an atheist, of course, she didn’t believe it. As for me, I was half-believing and half-doubting because I had never experienced anything like this with Reiki, but the scene was so vivid, beautiful, and peaceful that I couldn’t forget it.
