There are so many healing practices and energy-related fields that it can be difficult for outsiders to distinguish between them. Not everyone has the opportunity to experience all these methods, and not all therapists are passionate enough to study every single practice. Additionally, these practices operate within different frameworks, so to understand how they work, one must understand their respective frameworks.
This article is for those interested in topics such as soul fragmentation and healing practices like Holyfire Reiki, Siam Reiki, Timeline Therapy, Inner Child Healing, etc. The article is based purely on personal experience.
First, let me share my perspective on learning. I always tell my teacher, Steve, “I ask for permission to only believe 80% of what you teach me. It’s not because I don’t trust your knowledge, experience, or abilities, or that I fear you’re hiding secrets from us. The remaining 20% I reserve for my own validation and as a reminder that reality always surpasses what words can describe. There may be times when you can be wrong, and I can also be wrong because we are all human, and there are many things we don’t know. At that moment, my ego won’t erupt and point to your mistakes/uncertainties, forgetting the wonderful things you’ve taught. And if I ever become a teacher in any subject, I will tell my students the same thing.”
From this perspective, comparing what we learn with what we experience is incredibly fascinating, and it doesn’t always have to be about finding the absolute right or wrong, because sometimes all of them are just different descriptions of the same thing.
ON SOUL FRAGMENTATION
I remember reading about the concept of “soul fragmentation” in many books. Basically, from a primary source, there are many sub-sources, and each sub-source further splits into more sub-sources, continuing endlessly. Many people have turned to past life hypnosis or quantum hypnosis to see if they have a twin soul or to understand their origins before coming to Earth. In hypnosis, many cases are found where someone dies before completing their life’s lesson, as if a fragment of their soul has become stuck, and the therapist helps the subject in the present recognize that lesson, seeing how it relates to their current life. At that point, they feel as though they have reclaimed the stuck fragment of their soul. Additionally, some colleagues in the healing and energy fields have shared that they can detach a part of their soul/energy in the present to perform certain tasks and then retrieve it when needed.
The theory of soul fragmentation is intriguing. However, from a logical perspective, my tiny brain can’t quite grasp how it works. For example, how do I know how many fragments my soul has? How do I know if I have collected enough fragments? The books might say there are “x” fragments, but how can I verify that? Hahaha.
When studying Siam Reiki, I had a different perspective on this. Specifically, each chakra is like a funnel through which energy flows in and out. Blockages are like cotton layers blocking the mouth of the funnel. An event can cause multiple layers of blockages in one or several funnels. A single funnel can have multiple layers of overlapping blockages. These blockages can originate in the present or past lives, from others causing them to the subject or from the subject causing them to others. The layers of blockages can vary in thickness. Reiki energy entering each funnel is like detergent (Omo) blasting away stains =)). When the blockage layers are dislodged, energy pours in abundantly, and the subject feels complete, as if “a soul fragment has been summoned.” From this perspective, it’s much easier to visualize. Both the therapist and the subject can feel the completeness, even though no one knows how many soul fragments have been summoned =))

ON HOLY FIRE REIKI, TIMELINE THERAPY, INNER CHILD HEALING
I remember when I was learning Holy Fire Reiki, I was taught that Reiki can heal past wounds and events, and even send Reiki to the future, etc. To deal with past issues, the subject — the Reiki student — would write the title of that issue on a piece of paper, place it in the palm of their hand, and perform Reiki on it. This process somewhat resembles a person choosing to face their own blockages. However, many times the subject lacks self-awareness and doesn’t know what issue they are facing. When the therapist performs Reiki on the subject, the subject will simply lie down and almost fall asleep during the session. The therapist does not discuss the subject’s condition, at most mentioning which chakra is blocked but not specifying what that blockage actually is.
I haven’t studied Timeline Therapy or Inner Child Healing, but Quantum Hypnosis can bring about similar experiences — subtly guiding the subject to face the exact situation that caused the harm or face something similar, so they can observe it from a different perspective when they are in a deep Alpha – Theta brainwave state. From there, the healing process takes place. From my experience, sometimes it takes a long time to guide the subject to reach the point they need to face, and sometimes we have to take detours, weave around, or steer them gently so that they can face the issues at their own pace. At the same time, the therapist is just as anxious because they don’t know where this path will lead. These methods are more suitable for therapists working with subjects than for the subjects working on themselves, because it’s not easy for the subject to enter the deep Alpha – Theta state by themselves. A person who can self-induce into such a state and has the courage to face their wounds is already “exceptionally skilled.”
Siam Reiki, on the other hand, is straightforward and simple, like a down-to-earth teacher. No lofty or fanciful terms, just directness. The therapist will identify the layers of blockages, clearly point out what the wound is, what it relates to in the past, or even if it involves past lives (if applicable). The therapist will guide them to reflect on the situation, express it aloud, and guide them to release it in the Reiki flow. This process is very much like Timeline Therapy or Inner Child Healing, but more direct and efficient. A 60-minute Siam Reiki session can uncover a number of issues in a way that may take multiple Timeline Therapy sessions, uncovering all sorts of wounds, even those that seem impossible to categorize, such as an aura being misaligned, a chakra being overactive, disconnection from the Earth, etc. Additionally, the therapist knows which problems are more severe or subtle, and can sense things that the subject may not even recognize in themselves.
As for healing myself, I’ve never tried writing down an issue and using Siam Reiki to heal it, so I don’t know what that experience would be like. However, I’ve had many experiences where, while performing Reiki on others, I feel like something in me is also healed. Sometimes it feels like releasing, sometimes like becoming whole again, and other times it’s a sense of gratitude, feeling that life is beautiful. When I maintain my own Reiki practice, I feel more energetic, mentally clearer, and handle difficult situations with more ease. Given the limited time, I find that maintaining daily Reiki for clients and myself fills up a whole day. If something major comes up that is hard to release, I take a little extra time to sit quietly and understand myself better. Overall, Siam Reiki suits busy people, and just as Steve says, to transform yourself, get up, throw yourself into life, act, and life will transform you. A good meditator is not someone who meditates in a remote, secluded place but someone who can meditate effortlessly even in the middle of a busy intersection.
CONCLUSION:
By taking the time to experience and explore, we see that healing methods and practices are fascinating, each with common points and unique features. Therefore, focusing on choosing what suits each individual and each specific stage is better than arguing over what is “most correct.” I’m happy that Siam Reiki has provided me with a more logical, understandable perspective and real-life experiences that I haven’t read in books, while also complementing the Quantum Hypnosis tools I’ve been using.
