SOUL CONTRACT OR KARMA

Soul Contracts, Soul Plans, and the Concept of Karma: Do They Really Exist? How Should We Understand Them?

This is a question that one of my clients brought to me: “Is it true that there is a soul contract, where the soul is aware of many things and chooses the lessons it will learn in the next life? Or is it just a matter of karma, where we go to heaven or hell, as in Buddhism?”

This was a question I had once dug through everything to find an answer for. If in a past life, I did something A (cause) and in this life, I face something B (effect), then what if A is actually the effect of something someone else did to me in a past life? It could go on like this, creating an endless loop of karmic debt, causing endless cycles of revenge and retribution. And then I ask myself, if that’s the case, were those past lives really the “right” reason for me to make a decision in the present? In all those countless lifetimes, how could I know where everything began, and at that starting point, was I right or wrong to now say, “I must take responsibility”? And as I thought about it more, everything led me to realize that there is no “right” or “wrong,” everything is just an EXPERIENCE and an ACCEPTANCE. I have the FREEDOM OF WILL to choose how I respond to both my inner world and the outer world in the present moment. Gradually, I began to experience LET GO.

However, this is still a question I will always reflect on, and many others come to me with the same question. So, let’s open our minds and embrace whatever has, is, and will come. Don’t trap your mind in concepts, definitions, or thoughts—just observe…

The person asking this question was a very shy young woman. In her hypnotic state, she hesitated and only answered “I don’t know,” “I’m not sure” for many questions. But with this particular question, her Higher Self answered with great clarity and confidence. This is the exact response from her Higher Self: “Each principle is correct for me at different times. Therefore, at any given time, follow what feels right and listen to your heart.”

Experiences from Quantum Hypnosis Sessions

Though I’ve conducted a relatively small number of hypnosis sessions, I’ve realized that some things are similar, while others are very different from the concept of karma I had read about before.

  • One subject encountered a block in their throat. They had prepared in their mind what they would say, but when it came time to speak, they only seemed to confuse others. In a past life, they saw themselves as a middle-aged woman with a sharp tongue, speaking harshly to others.

  • One subject admitted they disliked conflict and would quickly accept the disadvantage to avoid the noise. But deep down, they felt that they were always the one losing out, both within their family and in society. In a past life, they saw themselves as a fruit vendor who cheated customers on the weight.

  • One subject was a cruel mother to her only son, to the point where the boy became so distraught that he ran away and threw himself into a ravine. In this life, they met again as siblings, with the mother now playing the role of the younger sister, constantly burdened with financial responsibility for the brother, who had once been her son.

  • One subject went through an 8-year relationship with a deceptive lover who repeatedly lied about love and money, and it seemed impossible to break free. Eventually, they realized there was deep resentment from a past life. One person had sworn an oath before committing suicide, promising revenge in a future life until the other person was utterly drained. Now, that resentment has passed.

  • Another subject had endured a miserable marriage in a past life, accepting it with resignation, but at the end of their life, they felt content. In this life, they met the same husband again, entered a marriage, but this time, the woman decided to free herself because she no longer wanted to accept a life of resignation.

  • A soldier from a far-off past life had shot and killed a third person, then, deeply remorseful for his impulsive actions, took his own life. In this life, he was born as a beautiful woman. She repeatedly encountered situations involving a third party, but instead of reacting with anger and destroying everything, she learned to calmly accept it. The third party in this life did not take her life.

Animals and Souls

I’ve also encountered the soul of an eagle that was killed by an arrow from a Native American, as the man needed food for his family. The eagle’s soul reincarnated as the man’s son.

Another subject had a fun hypnosis session where she saw herself as a squirrel hiding in a tree hollow. She admitted that she resembled a rodent because “I never stop eating and talking.” In one past life, she was a young girl who fed and spoke to a squirrel, as the squirrel was her only friend, since her family never listened to her. The subject was quite confused because sometimes she felt like the squirrel, and other times like the girl. I believe these are just roles played in her soul’s evolutionary journey.

I’ve also encountered a subject who loved dogs and cats deeply and had experienced many lifetimes as a pet, with her current parents being the same as those who were her owners in past lives.

When I reflect on these experiences, I find that the stories I’ve witnessed align closely with what Edgar Cayce, the famous hypnotist, wrote in his book Many Mansions: The Edgar Cayce Story on Reincarnation (1950), even though he only hypnotized himself to explore the past lives of others, not the lives of other people directly.

SOUL CONTRACT FROM QUANTUM HYPNOSIS EXPERIENCE

Soul Contracts and the Journey of Choice

Although I have not personally experienced it, I have witnessed a colleague help a subject sign a soul contract again.

I also believe that there are soul commitments that guide me along the path I’m meant to follow, helping me become who I am “here and now.” Because “quantity must accumulate to a certain level” for “the essence of me” to change.

And I have also accepted to break a commitment that “people” say is impossible to escape. Because if it is something that is meant to happen, then no matter what I do, it will happen. And since I don’t know when it will happen, in the present, I choose to do what I want. Therefore, if it doesn’t happen, I will still be content because I did what I wanted.

From another perspective, soul contracts are not something to blame for “Because this is the way it is, I must do this.” Karma is also not an excuse for “I must do this because I did that in a past life.” At each moment, listen to the call of your heart and choose what feels right. When we look deep inside and choose what we truly want from the heart, rather than from the ego, choosing to live in the present moment; naturally, it will lead us to do what we need to do. Could it be that the soul contract is all the possibilities we can choose, like how Monkey King travels thousands of miles yet remains in Buddha’s hand? It is not a reason to blame, nor to predict the future and shortcut the journey. It is a journey of choice, experience, and acceptance, and no matter how we choose, we are still in it.

If you come to me seeking the cause to make a decision, I can tell you that there’s no need to find the cause. Here and now, what do you truly want from the heart? Choose and simply walk that path.

With much light and love!!!
